Dr. Cleaner Elite - Disk, Memory, System Optimizer App Reviews

Really Great Program!

Seems to run faster than Dr. Cleaner. So far it is freeing up more memory also. Love how much Junk the program gets rid of.

Asthetic Improvement and WAY FASTER

The old version of Dr. Cleaner really lagged. It’s memory would show something insanely high and after I closed all my apps, it would take at least 30 seconds before it registered. This Elite version is much faster in sensing how much memory I have. Also, it comes with new features such as network usage. The new screen is much more artistic and in my opinion looks a lot better. Thanks developers for the update.

10/10

i recommended to any one ho wnat to optimize memory and remove the junk flie. it is simple to use it look good too it is FREE what can go wrong

B.S. App

Don’t trust it, it doesn’t work. All I’ve got to say.

Much better than CleanMyMac

This is a very neat little app. Working all fine until now, well designed and easy to use. Tried CleanMyMac app and many others. This one does the job. Highly recommended under El Capitn 10.11.4!

Good...

It is good, but it’s missing which app is consuming more memory, which was there on older version.

awesome.

amazing product. really simplisticx and helpful. i love the UI also!!!

very nice app

very well done, aesthetically appealing, dependably functional. Good app helping you keeping track of memory, and when needed clearing memory.

Would be great if it didn’t make your computer SLOW DOWN!

On a early 2009 iMac, and evertime it “optimizes” my computer automatically EVERYTHING slows down. My safari, any web pages open, or trying to do anything else. Trying to open another app while it’s doing it is impossible, and at one point my dock started pixalating out of the blue while this was installed. Not impressed with the functionality of this app even though it’s prettier to look at than the “non-elite” version. Defintiley not ready for prime time, and the 5 star reviews confounded me with having this much trouble. Once I uninstalled this and trend micro’s virus scanner, my computer started running smoother again. No thanks, I’ll pass until it’s been updated at least another 2 or 3 more versions later so they can iron this stuff out. Ironically the non-elite version ran smoother. If you can call it that.

OK

I was using Dr Cleaner then found elite version and switched and don’t see any difference. Maybe worse I think. there was times that I want to back to Not elite vers. Don;t know why it’s elite

WORKS GREAT!

This is what is missing in OS X and iOS, and does it just as well, as if it were.

Great software

does exactly what it should do… it just works! Nicely done.

The best of the WEST!!!

I brought of different other apps, but the they apps seems just to crash. I dont know if its my computer, or is it the other memory cleaning apps itself….

Your new upgrade makes my Mac run hotter. (((

What did you guys do? After the upgrade,my Mac’s temperature is running hotter by at least 30°C. For me this is unacceptable. I’m now using one of your competitor’s products as i can’t risk overheating my laptop. if you can fix the issue, i will be happy to return to using what used to be a fine product. Please fix this.

Upgrade Runs Hot, High Energy Consumption

TrendMicro, loved (past tense) this app until the recent upgrade. First noticed Dr. Cleaner consuming huge amount of energy and a high number of CPU cycles. I’ve noticed the app has crashed a few time too. Macbook Pro Mid-2014 running El Capitan. Will be watching for an update before using again.

Good, but won’t drop messages until you try out features

Every once in a while it’ll pop a little orange or red danger looking icon into your toolbar. You’ll be instructed to try out the duplicate scanner or some other feature and it won’t go away until you do. Other than that, it’s a good replacement for the normal Dr. Cleaner. Shame they updated it, instead of just replacing. Now I have to keep the old one for the uninstall feature, and always have the 1 update hanging for it. Update 3.0.5. Mac runs a bit cooler now, but still keep getting messages to try out other apps and features. I’ll stick with the old Dr. Cleaner till they add a way to dismiss these messages.
